Design Development

Diagram 01  We can learn a lot about the past, philosophical values, and ways of calming down at particular times from the arts and music. We can know the past from the designs that have been developed. Nevertheless, some of the furnishings and artwork are permanent, unchangeable, and untouchable. Furniture that may create a lullaby effect throughout the space is especially important since it improves the whole building comfort level. Meanwhile, It also able to made the whole building become lively by using the air circulation insde building and also able to interacting with people inside the house by using lovely lullaby. In the meantime, it was also able to engage with people within the house by using a beautiful lullaby and providing energy to the entire structure through natural air circulation. Bringing this furniture to Wyemering Manor House is able to attract in visitors and brighten up the whole interior.

Material Tutorial

Last Friday , Miss Rokshid had taught us about the importance of Material. What is material ? Material is a substance or combination of substances that makes up an item is called a material. Materials can be made of living or non-living things, pure or impure. Materials can be categorized according to their biological purpose, geological origin, or physical and chemical characteristics. The study of materials, their characteristics, a nd their uses is know n as materials science.   A variety of processing techniques, including as purification, shape, or the addition of other materials, can be used to modify the qualities of raw materials. By synthesis, new materials may be created from raw elements. Materials are used as inputs in manufacturing processes in the industrial sector to create products or more sophisticated materials. In addition, Roksid also taught us about the Regenerative (bio-based) material . The Regenerative material includes bio-based material as bamb...

Presentation Week : Graphic Workshop

Image
I gave a presentation on the prepared slides for the Pecha Kucha presentation along with my classmate on last Friday. We have been tasked with creating a PowerPoint slide that highlights our week-long stay at Wyemering Manor House.  Our professors had a brief talk with us and are eager to provide us with comments. I mentioned on the slide that my inspiration comes from the sound (wavy sound) sketch that I did while at Wyemering Manor House.              Following the lecture, we had a graphic design workshop to create our poster for our assignment. Following the talk, we had a graphic design workshop to create our own poster. I was aware of the several typefaces that may be used on the poster.Subsequently, we were divided into four-person groups to finish the provided tasks. We must cut the paper into the appropriate pieces and arrange it so that the client would find it visually pleasing. We experimented...

Workshop Diary

Image
I visited a used furniture store yesterday to purchase some furniture to finish my work. I went with a white side table, and it looks well. I selected this bedside table because I thought it was vintage, especially the handle and the wood pattern at the bottom, which reminded me of the Wyemering Manor House environment. On Friday, I got to work and began dismantling my bedside table with the equipment from the workshop area. I began by measuring the length of the wood that I intended to use for my backhead chair. I began sketching a curved line on a chair made of white wood. I then began using the cutter to cut my wood in accordance with the line I had sketched.  Additionally, I attempted to create a hole in the back of the chair so that I could connect a string to it using different metal stops to create a sound effect. Diagram 01 Diagram 01 Diagram 01 illustrates that the white bedside table's drawer has been pulled out. Diagram 0...

Wyemering Manor House is constructed on 1518 and is known as a graded II listed building,.The structure of the building is remain as it was it appeared in sixteenth century. The Wyemering Manor home has several bedrooms, a big Great Room, an attic, and a basement. throughout the years, a number of people have reported having paranormal experiences within the structure, which is rumored to be home to several lengends. The old Wymering Manor House still has a lot of fascinating history that people are interested in learning about. My first explanation of the concept is the mapping that is seen above. The Wymering Manor home has two curved windows and an antique brick facade. The ancient brick that makes up the Wyemering Manor House serves as the narrative's historical framework. The bricks act as a kind of narrative, detailing the trials and tribulations that Wyemering Manor House has faced and its ongoing efforts to preserve its legacy for future gene...

Arha Conferences

Image
I was there at the ARHA conference on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of last week. I was there at the presentation on Wednesday morning discussing the talk's open ceremony. The discussion lasts for approximately an hour, and I find it intriguing since I learned about a statement that I had never considered before. I learned from the discussion that there are a few things I should be aware of, such as doing it cautiously, creating a place of care, placing martial ecologies, creating informal utopias, and creating care rhythms. The expression "carefully does it" means that we must practice creating and completing our projects slowly. Additionally, the term "space of care" refers to locations for health and wellbeing. Furthermore, I am aware that the situated martial ecologies include accommodating the fallout from power during periods of calm. Furthermore, the term "informal utopias" refers to the dispossessed and the dislocated: from now...

I had learnt about the idea of critical thinking last Wednesday in the creative thinking class. I am conscious that there are many components to critical thinking, such as the necessity for students to be able to use relevant evidence, relate theory to practice, and understand information using a framework. I also gained knowledge regarding the meaning of reflection. In reflection, we must evaluate the reading and conversation process and its five stages, which include individual reading, beginning point, discussing ideas, discussing sources, and analyzing what you have learnt. I am happy and grateful to be attending this session since it has provided me with a wealth of knowledge. We returned to Wymering Manor House for a site tour on Friday and Miss Belinda gave us a brief overview of what we would be doing today. Initially, our task was to proceed upstairs to complete the tasks. I am grateful that our lecturer gave us this...
