Presentation Week : Graphic Workshop

I gave a presentation on the prepared slides for the Pecha Kucha presentation along with my classmate on last Friday. We have been tasked with creating a PowerPoint slide that highlights our week-long stay at Wyemering Manor House. Our professors had a brief talk with us and are eager to provide us with comments.I mentioned on the slide that my inspiration comes from the sound (wavy sound) sketch that I did while at Wyemering Manor House.

Following the lecture, we had a graphic design workshop to create our poster for our assignment. Following the talk, we had a graphic design workshop to create our own poster. I was aware of the several typefaces that may be used on the poster.Subsequently, we were divided into four-person groups to finish the provided tasks. We must cut the paper into the appropriate pieces and arrange it so that the client would find it visually pleasing. We experimented with many layout configurations. Then, we all came to a consensus and properly arranged it. I now know that some images may enhance the meaning of the text. The white space between paragraphs might provide more benefits to the way they are written. We also discovered that certain typefaces, like the spray paint look, can provoke different feelings in the user.Elizabeth Moreton(2023) claims that the organization is important in the design of the poster. The simplicity with which visitors will be able to understand your poster is significantly influenced by the method in which students arrange the text. Their material should generally flow from top to bottom and left to right.

Lastly, we also studied the definition of atmosphere. An atmosphere is defined as anything that permeates the space around us.The atmosphere consisted of bodies, time, shifting light, and the faint sounds of conversation.Additionally, I discovered that writing, mapping, photography, film and video, music, and drawing could all represent atmosphere.
